Australian Leadership Team
Greg Kane leads our operations in Australia and is responsible for a team of 6,000+ people in more than 14 offices across the region. He is also a key member of WSP’s Global Executive Team. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the region and previously served as WSP’s Chief Executive Officer in the Middle East.
Greg has over 20 years’ experience and has overseen the delivery of some of the world’s largest and most challenging vertical and horizontal infrastructure projects. He is a Chartered Structural Engineer with an MBA from INSEAD business school.
Aaron Little is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for WSP in Australia. He was appointed to the role as Golder joined WSP in 2021. Aaron had served as Golder’s Finance Director for Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
A commercially-focused finance executive, Aaron has more than 20 years’ experience across Asia Pacific, Europe and Africa, having worked in large complex, global organisations to drive financial outcomes. Aaron brings a deep understanding of operations in professional services, engineering and construction in the infrastructure, resources, energy, building and environment sectors.
Leanne Whicker leads the human resources function for our Australian business.
With extensive experience in professional services spanning more than two decades, Leanne works with key functions in the firm to drive rapid growth, change and high performance with a focus on talent. As a registered organisational psychologist, she brings a strong evidence-based approach to human resources initiatives that deliver results.
Rebecca has more than 30 years of experience in professional services, with extensive expertise in building powerful brands and helping businesses realise their market ambitions while also creating lasting value for society. She has held senior leadership positions at professional services firms with her career encompassing roles in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
Rob Clarke leads our Property & Buildings business in Australia.
With the firm for more than two decades, Rob previously led our Building Services team. He has been involved in significant building projects both nationally and in the UK. Rob maintains a client centric focus with key strengths in project leadership. He is an electrical engineer with a passion for client service excellence.
Charlie Jewkes leads our combined water, power and energy business in Australia.
Charlie has held a variety of leadership roles in the infrastructure engineering space. He has a strong track record in business management and the delivery of a wide variety of projects for clients worldwide. Charlie is a chartered engineer with more than 20 years’ experience as a geotechnical and tunnelling engineer.
Sam McWilliam leads our combined transport business in Australia.
Sam has been with WSP for 21 years, holding a variety of roles and leading several major projects and large teams to success. She is a prominent figure in Australia’s rail industry and is passionate about driving lasting transformation in the transport sector by solving traditional problems in innovative ways.
Julie Stanley leads our Advisory business in Australia. She has over 30 years of experience across engineering and major infrastructure service sectors in leading successful business growth and transformation.
As one of the largest environmental firms, Matthew leads a team of over 1,300 technical specialists delivering geotechnical, tunnelling, environmental, geo-environmental engineering, communications and engagement, and end-to-end solutions across the project lifecycle. He is a Chartered Engineer and passionate about creating a legacy to support thriving communities, developing strong client relationships, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability.
Adrian Chapman leads our Mining & Metals business across Australia and Indonesia.
With over 25 years of experience in the mining and infrastructure sectors, Adrian has played a pivotal role in shaping WSP’s mining and metals business to date.
He is passionate about the future of mining and is committed to leading with purpose, innovation, and sustainability. He believes in building trusted relationships with clients and empowering teams to deliver exceptional outcomes through best-in-class advisory and technical solutions.
