Geotechnical instrumentation

Geotechnical instrumentation is crucial to the safety and success of many kinds of projects. WSP has extensive experience of geotechnical instrumentation monitoring programs, which are used to monitor ground and structure displacements, groundwater levels, ground vibrations, and stresses in temporary and permanent structural elements during and after construction, allowing rapid remediation before damage occurs.

Geotechnical engineering for mine infrastructure

The mining industry has a pivotal role to play in the green transition, and WSP is supporting the development of this critical sector with geotechnical investigation, design and construction services for underground mines, open-pit mines and quarries.
