Standardising these datasets and aligning them to 400m x 400m hex tiles so they can be compared easily and visualised through maps, we help clients identify what the issues are and how they could be addressed.

It focuses on geographical scope, needs and modes of transport. The geographical scope covers demographics, Government levelling-up data and place typologies – such as whether an area is rural or urban. The needs scorecard shows where investment could help grow and level up the economy, improve transport for the user and reduce environmental impact. And the modes scorecard looks at the potential for shifting to different modes of transport that would better support Government policy to reduce driving.
