Bats are an integral part of our ecosystems, and some bat species in Canada are currently listed as endangered due to population declines. In order to receive provincial or federal environmental authorizations, surveys to assess impacts on Species at Risk are critical for many projects. Compensation measures for bats may also be required and solutions to enhance or protect bat habitats can be integrated into restoration or mine reclamation sites.

As part of WSP’s role as lead designer of Old Oak Common station, we delivered the urban realm strategy alongside partners to support the station’s role as a catalyst for reimagining a new West London neighbourhood in Old Oak and Park Royal.

Ulrich Gardens is a historic complex located in Warsaw's Wola district, near the Wola Park shopping center. The Sustainable Development Team of WSP in Poland was responsible for certifying three buildings located in the park, which is currently owned by Wola Park (Ingka Centres).
